Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CrawlFare ("the Service"), operated by MeruTech ("we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

CrawlFare provides a management layer for Cloudflare's AI Crawl Control, Pay Per Crawl, and AI Index products. We connect to your Cloudflare account via an API token you provide and configure AI crawler policies on your behalf.

3. Account and Access

You must provide accurate account information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and Cloudflare API tokens. You must have authority to grant CrawlFare access to the Cloudflare accounts you connect.

4. Cloudflare API Token

You grant CrawlFare permission to use your Cloudflare API token to: read your zone list, configure bot management settings, create WAF rules, and read analytics data. Your token is encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM. You may revoke access at any time by disconnecting your account or revoking the token in Cloudflare.

5. Subscription and Billing

Free accounts are limited to 3 domains. Paid plans are billed monthly via Paddle. You may cancel at any time; access continues through the end of the billing period. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.

6. Transaction Fee

Pro and Agency plans include a 2% fee on Pay Per Crawl revenue processed through CrawlFare, charged only on actual revenue earned. This fee is subject to the availability of Cloudflare's Pay Per Crawl product and revenue reporting APIs.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits or access controls
  • Reverse engineer or copy the Service
  • Connect Cloudflare accounts you are not authorized to manage
  • Use the Service to disrupt Cloudflare's infrastructure

8. Limitation of Liability

CrawlFare is provided "as is" without warranty. We are not liable for any loss of revenue, data, or business arising from the use of our Service, Cloudflare API changes, or Pay Per Crawl beta availability. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Modifications

We may modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 14 days before they take effect.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA.
